Stabbed in the throat by her 13-year-old son: fear in the Modena area

Drama this morning in Fossoli di Carpi, in the province of Modena. A 45-year-old woman was stabbed in the throat by her son, a 13-year-old boy.

At first the mother's condition appeared very serious, she was rescued and transferred by helicopter to the Baggiovara hospital and later to the ENT department at the Polyclinic. Doctors say it is not life threatening.

The police are investigating what happened. It appears that the attack occurred during an argument.
