Smoke and flames in the apartment, an elderly woman dies

Terror in the night in Padua where an 83-year -old woman died from the fire that broke out inside her apartment on the sixth floor of an apartment building.

The flames were tamed by the firefighters but the emergency intervention did not save the life of the old woman who died inside her home. Resuscitation attempts were useless.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The top three floors of the building were evacuated and the condominiums were assisted on the spot by civil protection and municipality personnel .
