Wild West in Milan . One person is dead and one is seriously injured in a shooting that took place in a bakery-pastry shop in Piazzale Gambara , a few steps from the access stairs to the red metro stop. The police are looking for the person responsible.
From what we understand , the people involved are both of Ukrainian origin: according to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the two entered the store to order something to eat and as soon as the owner turned and went to the kitchen, a third person arrived and opened fire on them. Then the killer walked away and is now wanted by the police.
The alarm was raised around 6.30pm on Saturday, when 118 operators intervened on site with two ambulances and two medical cars.
One of the injured was taken to the Policlinico, where doctors confirmed his death shortly after. The other, aged 26, is hospitalised in very serious conditions at the San Carlo hospital. The police and the scientific team were also on site.
