Macabre discovery in a park dumpster in Parona (Pavia). Some ecological workers who were carrying out cleaning work emptied the container and found a fetus of a few weeks old.

The police intervened on site and the fetus was handed over to the experts of the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the University of Pavia, where it will be examined. Given the small size, it is presumable that the mother's pregnancy period was short.

The military has started investigations to trace the woman. The images from the video surveillance cameras near the park will also be carefully monitored.
