The modus operandi was always the same. He followed his victims aboard an electric scooter , often starting from the central areas of Milan, then attacked them from behind , forcing them to undergo sexual acts.

A 21-year-old boy was arrested in the Lombard capital by the mobile squad for sexual violence against at least four women , between 19 and 33 years old. The attack was triggered even if they were talking on the phone, after the abuse the young man resumed his vehicle and ran away.

The 21-year-old - with a history of mistreating his mother - is under house arrest, the episodes of violence all took place between 27 May and 20 June and were reported by the victims.

The investigators reached the young man through a series of elements: "the purchase of a scooter similar to the one taken on the spot or in areas close to those of the violence, the resemblance of the suspect with the descriptions provided by the victims, the acknowledgments of the same , the comparison of the cells connected by his cell phone with the movements of the attacker, his access to the subway and his clothing. " The images of the video surveillance cameras that filmed the violence are also decisive.

In one case, on June 20, he allegedly " followed for several meters " on board a 23-year-old scooter, who had just come out of a gym in Viale Toscana, and attacked her. Other abuses were allegedly committed by the young man in via Vallarsa , on June 14, against a 20-year-old who was talking on her cell phone and always attacked "from behind" and made to fall. A 33-year-old suffered violence with the same pattern in via Ripamonti on 27 May. And on the same day a 29-year-old was attacked on her way home, not far from Porta Romana.

All women " hunted while they were alone at night on the street ".

THE TESTIMONIALS

"I was paralyzed in my body, but luckily I had the readiness to scream , I didn't say words, but I screamed, at a certain point a door clicked. As soon as my attacker heard the noise he left me to land, he got up, ran towards the scooter and ran away ".

It is one of the stories recorded by one of the four victims.

The 19-year-old explained that she was attacked from behind while she was "focused on the screen" of the phone, and that she was thrown "on the ground, turned, with him in front of me" . He immediately provided the agents with a description of that young man, who had a "Milan" accent and who was dressed in a T-shirt and Bermuda shorts. And also details on the scooter "almost all black with a fluorescent orange stripe on the front".

Another victim, the 33-year-old, said that the boy first approached her asking for information and then, taking advantage of a moment of distraction, he pushed her with "vehemence making me fall to the ground" . She too started screaming at the top of her voice, attracting the attention of a boy who was passing by on a bicycle and thus putting the attacker on the run.
