A Rottweiler falls from a balcony and hits a pregnant woman who was passing by .
It happens in the center of Rome, in via Frattina : the woman, in her second month of pregnancy, is now hospitalized in very serious conditions .
The episode occurred late in the morning: the dog fell from the third floor and died instantly , the owner is in shock and claims not to have noticed anything.
Passers-by and shop assistants on the street, one of the most famous in the Capitoline centre, immediately rescued the woman while waiting for 118 to arrive. Some also tried to rescue the animal, which however died immediately.
The police are investigating the matter : they are trying to reconstruct the dynamics and understand how the dog could have fallen from the balcony.
