Rome, thieves in action in Maria Sole Agnelli's villa: the housekeeper and a security guard held hostage

Thieves in action tonight in the villa of Maria Sole Agnelli , sister of the Lawyer Gianni. It happened in Torrimpietra, on the outskirts of Rome.

Before entering the 99-year-old 's home, the gang tied up the security guard and the housekeeper . They stole a safe containing jewelry and luxury watches . The owner of the house, who was sleeping, did not wake up and did not notice what had happened.

The loot has yet to be quantified, investigations are ongoing . The Carabinieri of the Ostia Investigative Unit and the Civitavecchia company are on site. The images from the video surveillance cameras are being examined.
