Rome: Abandoned farmhouse collapses in Aqueduct Park, killing two.

Tragedy struck this morning in the Parco degli Acquedotti in Rome , where the attic of an abandoned farmhouse collapsed near Via delle Capannelle, causing two deaths.

Firefighters found the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman under the rubble. The search continues to determine if any other people were involved.

The building was used as a shelter for the homeless; the causes of the collapse are still unclear.

Firefighters and police responded to the scene. Canine units and specialized search units were also at work searching the rubble.
