A twelve-year-old from San Benedetto del Tronto whose foot got stuck in a hot tub at Easter in a hotel in Pennabilli (Rimini) has been declared brain dead . He was hospitalized in critical condition at Infermi Hospital. The Rimini Prosecutor's Office will therefore consider the case for manslaughter , with no suspects currently under investigation. The Novafeltria Carabinieri are investigating.
The tragedy occurred last Sunday, and the boy was immediately hospitalized in critical condition. According to the reconstruction, the victim was in a one-meter-deep pool with his family at the time of the accident .

The family members immediately raised the alarm and the facility staff turned off the hot tub, but when the 12-year-old was rescued he was already unconscious and without a heartbeat.
