"She was unfaithful but will have to continue to receive the maintenance allowance."

This, in a nutshell, the verdict of the Supreme Court regarding the affair of the entrepreneur Ferruccio Ferragamo who, despite the betrayals of his ex-wife Ilaria Giusti , will have to continue to give her the check, equal to 60 thousand euros a month .

The sentence is reported by the Messenger. From what is learned, Ferragamo, president of the homonymous fashion house, with an estimated assets of about 4 billion euros , will also have to update the check upwards because the ex-wife after the separation moved to London with the only child, now of age, and the Supreme Court has ruled that the maintenance must be adjusted to the cost of living in the United Kingdom .

This is the umpteenth chapter of a story that began in 2019. The ex-wife wanted the divorce case to be decided in a British court, while Ferruccio Ferragamo obtained that the competent judge was that of Florence.

In the decision of the Supreme Court there is also, however, a point in favor of the Tuscan entrepreneur. "The first civil section of the Supreme Court, in the order filed yesterday - writes the Roman daily -, opened the way to the possibility that the charge of divorce (ie the blame for the breakdown of marriage) imposed on the spouse, explaining that the the entrepreneur's initial tolerance of his wife's infidelity was added to by further stories of the ex produced in court ". Ferragamo, in fact, "had asked to be admitted to prove that the aforementioned relationship had been followed by others, thus clearly suggesting that the tolerance he initially expressed had ceased, due to the repeated violation of the duty of fidelity that had determined the failure of the union ". The word now passes to the judges of the Court of Appeal of Florence, to which he has been referred.
