Bomb scare at the Milan Courthouse. On Friday morning, police and firefighters evacuated the courthouse on Corso di Porta Vittoria following a phone call (though it appears there were multiple calls) in which a voice with a foreign accent announced the presence of a bomb inside the building.

The staff and other people present were then made to leave and the police began their checks.

The calls arrived at the Police Headquarters and the heads of the Milanese judicial offices immediately activated the emergency plan.

All scheduled hearings were suspended. After seven hours of checks, the all-clear was given. From what we know, all cleanup activities were negative and no suspicious objects were found.
