Policeman stabbed in the Lambrate area: he is in serious condition

Serious episode of violence during the night near Lambrate station, in Milan. A policeman was stabbed.

The officers intervened after the report of the presence of a man who threw stones at the trains and had hit a 55-year-old woman in the head, who was rescued and then transported to the Fatebenefratelli hospital.

The police stunned the person responsible, a 37-year-old Moroccan, with the taser but the man managed to wound a 35-year-old deputy inspector with a knife, reaching his back. The agent underwent emergency surgery at Niguarda for injuries to some organs.

The foreigner was instead arrested.
