Investigated on charges of serious injury the policeman who by mistake - mistaking him for a thief - shot a 32-year-old, shot in the side and now in intensive care.

The episode dates back to last August 9 and took place in a condominium in via Antonimima, in the Romanina area, in the capital.

What happened has yet to be reconstructed: the policeman would have been warned by the neighbors, convinced that criminals had entered the apartment. All because the 32-year-old, alone at home, perhaps caught up in a telephone argument, would have started yelling, causing the misunderstanding.

The agent broke into the open apartment, saw the man who, frightened, began to scream. And, still convinced it was a burglar, he opened fire and fired.

A neighbor immediately arrived on the spot, who recognized the owner on the ground, bleeding and immediately helped.

The scene was captured by a video surveillance system inside the house. Images and audio being examined by the investigators to clarify the strange story.
