Very serious accident during the night between two police cars in the Monte Mario neighborhood of Rome: a 32-year-old policeman, Amar Kudin, died.

Four people were injured in total, three officers and a man who was arrested shortly before. According to the reconstruction by the local police, who are in charge of the investigations, Amar Kudin was in a patrol car from the Primavalle police station driven by a colleague and was sitting on the passenger side. The arrested man was in the back seat.

The car was headed to the police station and was traveling along Via dei Monfortani toward Torrevecchia. At an intersection it collided with the other patrol car , headed to the scene of a fight in the Corso Francia area, which was coming from Via Trionfale in the direction of Pineta Sacchetti . Both patrol cars overturned on impact.

Amar Kudin, who served at the Primavalle police station, was born in Croatia and arrived in Italy at a young age, where he discovered rugby in Treviso. He currently played for Civitavecchia Rugby, and in the past he had also played for Fiamme Oro.
