Pediatric vaccines, Bertolaso: "Don't fasting your children, it's a mistake"

"Do not take children to fasting anti-Covid vaccination".

This is the notice launched to parents by Guido Bertolaso, coordinator of the vaccination campaign of the Lombardy Region.

"As far as pediatric vaccinations are concerned, Lombardy is certainly the locomotive of Italy, we actually vaccinate over 20% of children who get vaccinated in the country", he said on the sidelines of the visit to the hub of the Milan Fair, dedicated to to pediatric inoculations.

There is a large turnout at the center, "although it is Sunday today over 3 thousand children will be vaccinated, important numbers", he added, underlining "the important participation of parents, often when they bring their children we vaccinate them too with the third dose".

Finally, "a little note" for parents. “Mothers often take their children to fast. This is a mistake, because sometimes there is a risk of hypoglycemia, deriving not from the vaccine but from fasting. For the rest, vaccination is absolutely safe ".
