Two-year-old boy hit by his father's car: the parent under investigation for manslaughter
The car was in front of the garage with the engine running, a little brother would have accidentally engaged the gear
The two-year-old child hit by his father's car in Messina died instantly. It happened last night after 11pm in a condominium complex in Bordonaro.
According to an initial reconstruction, the family had just returned home and the father had come down to open the garage. He had left the car with the engine running in neutral and another son aboard: the latter, apparently, would have inadvertently engaged the gear .
The car would have moved with a leap forward , overwhelming the two-year-old who was in front of the car . The father is now being investigated for manslaughter.
Carabinieri coordinated by the Messina Public Prosecutor's Office, headed by Maurizio de Lucia, who will decide whether to arrange the autopsy, intervened on the spot.
