A car crashed into the window of a bar, injuring five people, one of them seriously . The incident occurred yesterday evening in Reggio Calabria , on Via Ecce Homo, in the southern outskirts of the city, near the stadium.

Around midnight, the driver of a car who was traveling with a friend lost control of the vehicle in an attempt to avoid a collision with a scooter, which crashed through the shop window and ended up partially inside the business .

The vehicle struck a 32-year-old man in front of the bar, who is currently in critical condition in the hospital's intensive care unit . In addition to the 32-year-old, the two women in the car, a woman on the scooter, and a young man inside the bar were also injured .

Emergency medical services and municipal police officers responded to the scene, attempting to reconstruct the accident using video surveillance cameras in the area. Initial investigations, however, suggest that the accident was caused by an incorrect driving maneuver .
