The 92-year-old man who shot his 46-year-old Romanian caregiver this afternoon in a home on Viale Faenza, in the Barona area of Milan, was arrested for attempted murder and placed under house arrest at his son's home.
The woman's life is not in danger, and police officers are trying to reconstruct the dynamics and cause of the injury.
The man has a criminal record.
