A nineteen-year-old Italian of Kosovar origin was arrested by the police in a blitz in Milan and transferred to prison, she is accused of association with the purpose of terrorism.

The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office requested and obtained the precautionary custody order from the investigating judge.

The girl was radicalized at 16, she was a "devoted supporter" of Isis according to investigators. Her name is Bleona Tafallari and she participates in the organization called "Lions of the Balkans", which is part of the Islamic State.

The investigation began after an intelligence report concerning the young woman's husband, a 21-year-old Kosovar married last January who was related to the Vienna bomber Kujtim Fejzulai.

The 19-year-old had recently moved to Milan, to her brother's house.

In his cell phone he kept "thousands" of images and videos, "some of which were created by the Islamic State communications agency 'Al Hayat Media Center' 'which depicted" symbolic objects "of the terrorist organization such as the" black flag with the inscription of the testimony of faith, scenes of fighting, summary executions of infidels "with" beheadings and fires, scenes of terrorist attacks "by the mujahideen" in European cities whose deeds are extolled ".

The attack in Vienna took place on November 4, 2020: Fejzulai fired at various points in the city and killed four people before being killed by the security forces.
