From the investigations carried out, "it appears that the facts reported in the press reports that gave rise to this supplementary investigation are not true and that no facts have emerged that conflict with the evidentiary framework already acquired" regarding Nicole Minetti's pardon request. Milan's Attorney General Francesca Nanni wrote this in a statement, noting that the findings of the new analyses were forwarded to the Ministry of Justice today.
In essence, the prosecutor's office confirms its positive opinion on the pardon granted by the President of the Republic in February.
Furthermore, according to the prosecutor, there are "no reports of crimes or pending legal proceedings or involvement in investigations of any kind in Uruguay or Spain against Nicole Minetti and Giuseppe Cipriani." And the allegations about drug-fueled and sex-fueled parties in which Nicole Minetti allegedly participated in recent years, as reported "to Il Fatto Quotidiano" by the masseuse, are "denied" by "numerous statements taken during the defense investigation" and by "statements made to the Carabinieri by people with knowledge of the facts." Nor have "any irregularities emerged in the adoption proceedings" for the minor, the Milan Prosecutor's Office writes.
