Newborn Baby Kidnapped From Clinic Under Fraud: Husband and Wife Arrested

The two arrested by the Cosenza Flying Squad for the kidnapping of a newborn baby that occurred yesterday afternoon around 6:30 pm are a husband and wife . She, 51, is from Cosenza, while he, 43, is a Senegalese citizen.
The woman, according to what has been learned, faked her pregnancy for 9 months and a week ago she posted on social media that she had given birth to a baby .
The newborn was found already dressed like a boy.
According to some witnesses, the woman spent hours near the clinic , where she then took action, introducing herself to the little girl's mother and grandmother as a childcare worker and fleeing after taking the newborn from the room .
The two kidnappers were stopped near their home, in Castrolibero.
Outside the clinic, prosecutor Antonio Bruno Tridico simply said, "Case solved, we're happy."
