Milk truck collides with a car, killing three and seriously injuring one in Modena.

Three dead and one seriously injured. This is the toll of an accident that occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. on the Via Emilia Ovest, just outside Modena , between a milk truck and a car, both of which ended up in the ditch at the side of the road.

Rescuers intervened to extract the four occupants trapped in the car. Despite the prompt rescue efforts , medical personnel were unable to confirm the death of three of them . The fourth passenger, extracted alive but in serious condition, was rushed to the hospital. The road is closed to traffic in both directions.
