She was attacked and raped by the gang while she was outside the Alcatraz nightclub in Milan . The victim is a 19-year-old student from Puglia , who was in the club with her boyfriend on the night between Friday 10th and Saturday 11th. The nightmare began in the parking lot next to the club, where the couple was approached by about ten people.

It was the security personnel who intervened and contributed to the arrest, together with a patrol of the Carabinieri, of one of the alleged attackers. The man, a 36-year-old Egyptian , is now in the San Vittore prison on charges of sexual violence and robbery, while the search for the other members of the gang continues.

The sexual assault occurred around 4:25 am. The young woman and her boyfriend were surrounded by a group of North Africans who first tried to take the boy's cell phone and wallet. When she reacted, they tried to take the 19-year-old's purse, but failed. At that point, one of them allegedly started to grope her private parts. After the intervention of security men, the attackers fled.
