Maxi cocaine seizure: Al Capone's photos on the blocks
A man and a woman in handcuffs: the drug would have yielded over 5 million euros26 kilos of pure cocaine were seized by the provincial command of the Finance Police of Foggia near San Severo.
The Yellow Flames spotted a car, with a Swedish license plate, that had stopped at a gas station. On board a man and a 35-year-old woman , of Albanian nationality with a Swedish passport, who immediately appeared very nervous, so much so as to convince the military to investigate further by searching the car. In two double bottoms controlled by a hydraulic opening system under the seats, there were piles of drugs, which also featured photos of the American boss Al Capone . If placed on the market, the drug would have yielded over 5 million euros .
The couple was arrested. Few statements were made, including the fact that they had to embark for Greece.
