Illness in the Chamber for Matteo Richetti , group leader of Azione-Italia Viva.

This afternoon the deputy passed out in the Montecitorio hall . "Immediately rescued by the health personnel of the Chamber, he was urgently transported to the Gemelli Polyclinic, where he is hospitalized for tests", reads a note from the Azione press office.

The group leader of the Third Pole accused of fainting during the session, two colleagues immediately accompanied him to the infirmary. From there he was taken to the hospital emergency room: he lost consciousness for a few moments but then recovered already during transport by ambulance to the Gemelli hospital .

Now the situation would be stable and the hospital is subjecting him to all the necessary tests. The faint could have been due to a drop in blood pressure or stress and Richetti will be kept in hospital for the night.

Unanimous solidarity with the parliamentarian. All the groups wished him a speedy recovery, wishing his colleague his return to the Chamber as soon as possible.

Moments of great fear in the Montecitorio hall, where some colleagues thought of a heart attack .
