Little Luisa is in a hurry to be born, her mother gives birth on board the ferry

Pink bow , shortly after 7 and a half this morning , on a ferry sailing from Ischia to Pozzuoli : little Luisa was born aboard the Benito Buono , which departed from the green island and headed towards the Phlegrean landing.

Luisa's mother was going, together with her gynecologist, to give birth on the mainland but during the navigation , immediately after the stopover in Procida, she had labor pains and the doctor could do nothing but make her give birth .

The little girl is doing well and is currently with her mother at the La Schiana hospital for checks on the case.

The ship's commander , Giacomo Piro, who cut the umbilical cord was excited: "We are still astonished but very happy, this is a day we will not forget," he said.
