The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the archiving of the investigation into sexual violence against Leonardo Apache La Russa, son of the President of the Senate, and his friend DJ Tommaso Gilardoni, which arose from the complaint of a 22-year-old about alleged abuse in May 2023.

The prosecutors, however, closed the investigations on the two young men, charging them with the crime - not in competition - of revenge porn for the dissemination, without the girl's consent, of images of sexual content.

At the end of June 2023, the complaint of the 22-year-old arrived on the table of the Milanese prosecutors, who had said that, after a night spent in a Milanese nightclub - where she had met her former high school classmate Leonardo Apache while she was with a friend - she had woken up at the La Russa house and without remembering anything . And, according to her version, convinced that she had been abused.

The case emerged in the media in early July 2023. The son of the President of the Senate and his friend Gilardoni have always spoken, even when questioned by prosecutors in the investigations, of consensual relations. Now the Prosecutor's Office led by Marcello Viola, with the addition of Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro, after almost two years of complex and detailed investigations conducted by the Flying Squad, with dozens of witnesses heard, have asked the investigating judge to archive the case for the two suspects, not believing that there are the elements, including intent, to contest, until a possible trial, the accusation of sexual abuse of the two young people.

The girl's lawyer, Stefano Benvenuto, will oppose the request and then it will be up to the investigating judge Rossana Mongiardo to decide, after a hearing, whether to archive the case, order new investigations or order forced indictment.

On the other hand, the prosecutors have closed the investigations for the two, in view of the request for trial, for the crime of revenge porn . Last December, in fact, a new computer consultancy was filed on the "cancellation of contents" to recover some more images, in particular some videos (some had already been traced especially in Gilardoni's phone). Analysis that had concerned, in particular, the cell phones of two young people who were present in the Milanese nightclub. Videos that, according to the prosecution, would have circulated without the girl's consent. In the investigations, a maxi medical-legal and toxicological consultancy was also ordered, entrusted to a team led by Cristina Cattaneo, on the girl's conditions to establish whether she was able to express consent, given that she had drunk and taken tranquilizers, cannabis and cocaine that night . A consultancy was also carried out on the girl's hair, which had ascertained that "the concentrations of GHB", the so-called date rape drug, "are comparable to those commonly expected in subjects who do not consume the molecule".
