The police stopped two people suspected of killing Fernanda Cocchi last Thursday in Milan. The body of the 90-year-old had been found in her home in via Ponte Seveso and from the first surveys it emerged the hypothesis that she was killed with an iron.

Two South American citizens got into trouble, a 22-year-old Ecuadorian and a 44-year-old Peruvian who seems to have had occasional contact with the victim. The criminals would have committed a robbery which then ended in tragedy.

Some personal belongings of the woman were seized from the two detainees.
