“Killed two patients,” handcuffed nurses

The 50-year-old nurse arrested in Catania is accused of double murder. The victims are two patients hospitalized in a city hospital.

The prosecutor had ordered technical and toxicological investigations after the exhumation of the bodies from which it emerged the presence of massive doses of diazepam and midazolam, drugs contraindicated for the pathologies suffered by the two dead people.

According to mobile team investigators, the deaths of the patients occurred during the nurse's night shift. The precautionary measure was signed by the investigating judge on 5 July.
