He arrived on January 16 at the hospital in Terracina, a municipality in Lazio in the province of Latina, in desperate conditions. He was immediately diagnosed with severe respiratory failure due to Covid-19 infection.

Then, the next day, the transfer to the Goretti hospital in Latina, in the Covid intensive care unit, where he had also tried to tear off the helmet that could have saved him, then put back on thanks to the intervention of the doctors. for him, however, there was nothing more to do, and so the 27-year-old Luigi Cossellu died.

He had never been vaccinated against Covid, and had always denied the danger of the virus. Even the father, 55 years old and also a "no-vax", is now hospitalized in serious condition and intubated.

"You were always smiling, no one has ever managed to take your smile off you and I hope you will always be like that up there", remember today Cossellu's friends on Facebook.

He, 27, was a fishing enthusiast. And right on social media, on those same pages where messages of condolence continue to arrive to the family, his photos scroll while proudly showing a rich booty just caught.

"To date, there are still those who say that Covid does not exist, that it is just a flu, that I hope it will come to me so I take the Green pass: in the meantime, people in the world die, friends die, grandparents, fathers, children and friends brought away from Covid. Tell the families who have lost a dear relative ", reads among the many messages posted.
