Vannacci, 55, former head of the Folgore paratroopers and until now head of the military geographical institute, had ended up at the center of controversy for his book entitled "The world upside down" . Crosetto denounced what was contained in the general's book, speaking of " opinions that discredit the Army, the Defense and the Constitution ". "For this reason, the foreseen disciplinary examination will be initiated by the Defense," he then specified.

" Hate is a feeling, like love and therefore I think it is legitimate to feel contempt for something or someone – he continued -.
