Dramatic road accident this morning on the Via Flaminia in Rome.

A 21-year-old boy, Gabriele Sangineto, died in hospital after being hit by two cars in front of the Labaro station, a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital.

The young man, according to what we learn, was crossing the pedestrian crossing to reach the train stop when he was hit by a Toyota taxi, which was going in the direction outside Rome. Thrown into the oncoming lane, he ended up against another car , a Doblò coming from the other side.

The drivers were taken to San Filippo Neri for alcohol and drug tests. The taxi driver was a 38-year-old man, while the Doblò was driven by a 49-year-old.

The vehicles were seized.
