Head stuck in the window of the Piaggio Ape, dies at the age of four

Drama this afternoon in a farmland in the Turin area, in Vische, where a four-year-old boy lost his life.

The little one, according to an initial reconstruction made by the Carabinieri of Chivasso, remained with his head stuck in the window of a Piaggio Ape, causing an injury to the base of the neck which proved fatal.

The accident took place shortly after 1 pm on the family's farmland, the rescue efforts of the 118 personnel and the transport by helicopter to the Regina Margherita hospital were useless, where the child died.

According to what was reconstructed by the investigators, it was a tragic fatality: the child, who would have turned five in November, was trying to get into the passenger compartment of the Piaggio Ape when his head got stuck in the window. There was nothing to be done.
