He goes out into the garden while his parents are sleeping, falls into the swimming pool and dies at the age of three

A three-year-old boy died this afternoon in via del Tritone in Palermo, drowning in his home swimming pool. The 118 health workers and police officers intervened on site and attempted to save the child, unfortunately in vain.

When the tragedy occurred, the child's parents were at home and were resting. The little boy, who would have turned three tomorrow, went out alone into the garden and ended up in the swimming pool where he drowned.

The father, realizing his son's absence, looked for him everywhere and then found him lifeless in the swimming pool. He called for help and some ambulances arrived with the resuscitator, but there was nothing that could be done for the little boy.

The investigations are conducted by officers from the San Lorenzo police station. In the area of the villa, in the seaside village of Sferracavallo, particularly popular in the summer, many know the child's family. In front of the house where the tragedy occurred there is a group of friends and acquaintances, shocked by what happened.
