A 9-year-old American boy who fell into a swimming pool risked drowning.
Rescued, he was then evacuated by the Carnival Pride in transit in the Tyrrhenian Sea and headed for Greece.
The crew of the patrol boat Cp 831 of the Rome Fiumicino Harbor Master's Office carried out the medical evacuation.
The little boy was admitted to the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital: now he is out of danger.
Alerted the emergency office of the US embassy for the assistance of US citizens.
