An investigation has been opened into the case of the death of 21-year-old Michele Zenti from Parona (Verona).

The young man died on 7 October, after being hospitalized in a coma in the surgical intensive care unit of the Borgo Trento hospital.

The Verona prosecutor has now opened an investigation for manslaughter.

According to what has been reconstructed, the boy ended up in hospital on the evening of Saturday 2 October after hitting his head in the parking lot of the "La Grande Mela" shopping center.

He would have fallen out of the trunk of a car driven by a friend.

According to what emerged, Michele was in the trunk with the hatch open but it is not clear what position he was in when he lost his balance, falling and hitting his head.

It appears that the driver did not take any alcohol or drugs.

At the moment no hypothesis on the causes of the fall of Zenti is excluded, from the tragic accident to the stunt, up to the illness.

An autopsy will be performed on the young man's body. Today the funeral was held in Verona.
