Milena Lentini , the 14-year-old from Mombaccio , in the Pesaro area, didn't make it, died after four days in a coma and following a road accident in which she was involved on her way to school.

The student, in her first year at the Ipsia Benelli in Pesaro, was going to school in the company of a friend of hers in the car of a 19-year-old acquaintance of theirs who had offered to accompany them, when the car was involved in the dramatic accident and was ended up against a wall .

Milena suffered the worst of the accident and immediately appeared in critical condition . Admitted to the Torrette hospital in Ancona, she died last night . Family members agreed to multiple organ harvesting.

The mayor of Mombaroccio, Emanuele Petrucci, wrote a note announcing the city's mourning on the day of the funeral: «Milena was one of us - she explains - a girl who loved the Municipality and the village of Mombaroccio in particular and who, after the premature her mother disappeared three years ago , she found affection from the community thanks to the social cohesion inherent between fellow citizens and fellow citizens. His generosity and that of his family have never failed for the good of others. This was also demonstrated by the decision taken with the authorization of organ harvesting which will allow Milena to continue living, giving a new life to those who will have the possibility of receiving part of her. We will remember her with affection, with her gaze full of life; we will remember her as an already adult child in the streets of the Borgo in the carefree smile of a wonderful teenager" he concludes.
