A carefree day with friends at the beach, then a dive where the water was too shallow.
For a 21-year-old from Terni, the holiday on the Feniglia beach in Argentario (Grosseto) ended in tragedy. The boy died in hospital in Siena, following a fractured neck bone. The facts date back to Saturday the 5th. Late Sunday evening the doctors declared him brain dead.
According to what was reconstructed, the tourist was on vacation with his family. The alarm, after the accident, went off immediately. The 118 rescuers and the Port Authority arrived on the spot. All resuscitation attempts, also carried out with the Lucas device for cardiac massage, were in vain. Operations also continued during transport to Le Scotte with the Pegaso helicopter. But due to the severity of the traumas for the 21-year-old there was nothing they could do.
