A case of manslaughter has been opened against the two owners of a diner in Rome where last week a 14-year-old English tourist fell ill and suffered a fatal anaphylactic shock due to a peanut allergy.

From what we understand, the two suspects are both Egyptian nationals.

According to what has been learned, the seizure of portions of the two desserts that are served in the restaurant has been ordered, and tests will be carried out to determine whether there are traces of peanuts inside.

The coroner has been assigned the task of performing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The police are investigating the case.
