The exact times are not yet known but one thing is certain : Germany has said yes , Filippo Turetta – accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Giulia Cecchettin last November 11th – will be extradited to Italy . This was confirmed in a statement released this morning by the Naumburg Court of Appeal.

According to the magistrate - on the basis of the documents attached to the European arrest warrant against the young man - there would be no obstacles to handing the boy over to the Italian authorities. A possibility that was accepted by the suspect himself last Sunday.

Turetta had previously been provisionally detained in Halle prison. Now delivery can take place according to the times required by law. The police will probably pick him up.
