General strike: day of disruption. Workers marching in Cagliari too
8-hour stop for public and private sectors. Four-hour stop for local, maritime and air transport

Disruptions throughout Italy due to the general strike called by the unions for today, Friday 29 November.
An 8-hour stop is planned for all public and private sectors (factories, schools, health), with the exception of transport where, due to the conscription, the strike is reduced to 4 hours for local and maritime transport (from 9 to 13), and for air transport (from 10 to 14). Trains are excluded from the stop.
On the demonstration front, a procession is also planned in Cagliari : meeting at 9 in Piazza Garibaldi for a march to Piazza del Carmine, where the national secretary of Uil Pensionati Carmelo Barbagallo will conclude the morning.
