The victim, Alexandra Elena Mocanu , a 35-year-old from Romania who worked as a bartender in an establishment in the South Tyrolean capital, was found dead - her body wrapped in a blanket - in her home in the late afternoon, after a report triggered the intervention of the mobile team.
The crime would have taken place several hours before the body was found. The husband is sought, apparently the prime suspect: the man allegedly left Bolzano with his wife's car and phone and could be headed to Albania , his country of origin.
Mocanu lived in a residential area, between the Isarco and Talvera rivers, a short walk from the historic center of Bolzano.
Forensics are also on site. Prosecutor Claudia Andres coordinates the investigation.
