First he killed his mother, then he took his own life. Tragedy in the late afternoon in an apartment on Via delle Ande in Milan .

The protagonist is a 57-year-old man who, according to an initial reconstruction by the carabinieri, killed 91's mother by suffocating her, then went to the bathroom and hanged himself using the rope of a roller shutter . The elderly woman was killed with several rounds of duct tape on her face which blocked her nose and mouth, preventing her from breathing.

The elderly woman did not suffer from particular pathologies , she was independent and left the house alone despite having walking problems. The 57-year-old, an engineer who hadn't worked for a long time, lived with his brother in another apartment in the same building, on the fourth floor.

According to what is learned , the man suffered from depression , according to some testimonies he was very upset by the death of his father, which occurred in 2018 at the end of a long ordeal due to a degenerative disease. The two sons looked after their mother, which is why they bought a house in the same building.
