Fatal stabbings in the Pavia area, the attack in front of the Mede station

Murder in the night in Mede.

According to initial findings, a 30-year-old was killed with a hunting knife in front of the train station in the small town in the province of Pavia.

A 56-year-old woman, who was in the area, was taken ill and was taken to hospital. However, there was nothing that could be done for the victim, the rescue efforts were useless.

The Voghera Carabinieri intervened on site and started investigations to trace the perpetrator of the fatal attack and reconstruct the episode.
