Farewell to Rita Calore , the mother of Stefano Cucchi , the young man killed in Rome on 22 October 2009 while he was in custody.
The announcement came via facebook from the family's lawyer, Fabio Anselmo , the lawyer who followed the Cucchi family in the trials on the young man's death.
"He did not make it. This morning Rita Calore gave up to go and hug Stefano again . The son never lost", the words of Anselmo.
"I write it with great emotion and cling to Giovanni and Ilaria. I have nothing more to say to this large family than the words of the lawyer addressing the woman's husband and daughter.
