Lampedusa, eleven landings with 200 migrants in one hour

The landings in Lampedusa continue.

In less than an hour , as many as 200 migrants arrived with eleven different boats , a record. In this way, arrivals on the island rise to 46 in the space of 24 hours, with over a thousand people.

The boats were rescued by the patrol boats of the Guardia di Finanza and the Coast Guard. On board groups ranging from a minimum of eight to a maximum of 47 Tunisians, including women and children.

One of the migrants, who fell ill, was taken to hospital.
