Electrocuted while repairing an electrical outlet, instant death

While washing his car with a pressure washer, a man died after being electrocuted by an electric shock.

The tragedy took place this evening in Simeri Crichi, in the province of Catanzaro. The victim is Vittorio Madia, 34, who lived with his family in the locality of "Homo Morto".

Since it was rebuilt following the intervention of the carabinieri, it had been repairing an electrical outlet connected to an extension cord used for the pressure washer. Death was instant.

The prosecutor did not consider it necessary to carry out an autopsy and gave instructions for the return of the body to relatives.
