Shocking wiretaps are said to be behind the arrest of 27-year-old Luca Spada, who is being investigated for voluntary homicide as part of the investigation opened by the Forlì Prosecutor's Office into the deaths of several elderly people within a few months during or shortly after being transported by ambulance.

According to what was reported by "il Resto del Carlino", which published the text of the wiretapped conversations, the Red Cross worker reportedly said, on one occasion: " These poor old people are suffering too much... it's not fair... they have to go to God... " and on another: " I really liked what I did... I want to do it again ."

Spada, under investigation for voluntary manslaughter, was a Red Cross worker, later suspended, and an emergency vehicle driver. A custody order issued by the judge for preliminary investigations was enforced against him. The 27-year-old is specifically believed to be the alleged perpetrator of the aggravated murder of an 85-year-old woman, which allegedly occurred during a medical transport on November 25th.
