Earthquake in L'Aquila, the shock sentence: "The fault lies also with the victims"

It is a fault , for the victims under the rubble of the collapse , not having abandoned their homes after two very strong earthquakes that followed a seismic swarm that lasted for months: it is a passage of the sentence in the civil court of the Court of L'Aquila referring to the collapse of a building in the center of the Abruzzo capital in the earthquake of 6 April 2009 in which 24 people out of 309 overall died.
"The exception of the conspiracy of guilt of the victims is founded - we read on page 16 of the sentence signed by Judge Monica Croci of the Civil Court of L'Aquila in monochrome composition, and as reported today by Il Messaggero - objectively constituting an imprudent conduct that of staying asleep despite the notorious occurrence of two tremors in the evening of April 5 and shortly after midnight on April 6. Competition that can be estimated at 30 percent "or the measure by which the established damages will be reduced.
A "reading" that therefore collides with the "rest assured, the swarm is releasing energy" which instead arrived from the organs of the state in the days close to the great shock, equal to 6.3 on the Richter scale.
On March 31, 2009, five days before the earthquake, the Major Risks Commission met in L'Aquila to take stock of the swarm in progress at least since November. And the reassuring tone of the minutes of that meeting was greeted as a promise that nothing serious would happen . The first instance sentence of the Great Risks Trial sentenced the seven members of that Commission to six years, precisely "for having reassured". Then, on appeal, that judgment was completely overturned: the members of the Commission were acquitted because the fact does not exist.
The judgment of the Civil Court today concerns only some of the 24 victims, who have been recognized as being co-responsible equal to 30% because they were considered imprudent not to go out after the second quake, which occurred at one in the morning and before the tragic one at 3.32.
