Three people were arrested as part of the “Vida Loca” operation carried out by the financiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Varese against an organization specializing in drug trafficking from Mexico.

The investigation, which led to the execution of seven house searches, made it possible to seize over 19 kilos of pure cocaine for an estimated retail value of 3.2 million euros.

Also identified the "sender" of the drug, an Argentine fugitive who received citizenship income.

The start of the operation had arrived in 2019, with the arrest by the Fiamme Gialle of Malpensa of a passenger of Mexican nationality from Cancun, surprised with 9.2 kilos of cocaine in his luggage. Subsequent investigations revealed the existence of other associates and the seizure of another 10 kilos of cocaine. An "ovulator" was also in handcuffs, caught traveling with 400 grams of white powder in the abdomen packed into 34 eggs.

The financiers ascertained that the group of traffickers also supplied the province of Siena with drugs and guaranteed the direct supply of the drug through couriers sent by bus.
